Methods used include piecing, fusible fabric, machine quilting and embellishment.

An Artful Sampler

This quilt is constructed through many strips of fabric that are then embellished with wool, lace and other trims. This is a fun technique letting you use all those special pieces of lace and trim that you have been saving. Techniques used: Machine piecing, Fusible appliqué, machine stitched and quilted, embellishment with trims and beads. This is a weekend project.

This project makes use of a panel that you may have in your stash or a new one that attracts your eye. You create a masterpiece through free motion machine quilting, you will also be introducing to the quilting style of McTavishing. You will be amazed by your results. This is an easy project that will let you experiment with machine quilting and learn a technique that will let you make quick quilts for friends and family. This is a weekend project.
